Welcome to my first ever general blog post, in which I establish myself as someone with a lot of unsolicited opinions just dying to share them with the world. In this space, we will review and discuss whatever media or article or show has recently inspired a freeform rant within me, and I have come up with a super-sweet system of visual evaluation. Dig it. Here we have the little kawaii images of me I slapped together on Saturday night (because that's how I party on the weekends). You may recognize them as the basic bitch vector images you see sprinkled throughout the site so far.

This stamp attached to a review means that I think the media is not worthy of your time. You can tell because of the angry eyebrows that reveal how I found it unworthy of my own time.

This stamp attached to a review means that I think that the media I examined might be worthy of someone's time, but there were things I didn't dig about the experience myself.
So I'm going to start collecting and building the content for us to get this show on the road, so to speak, and as I review the media I encounter, you can refer to this baseline policy for how to interpret the vector stamps of approval, disapproval, and ambivalence.
For now, let's get started with my first review under the Don't Judge a Book by Its Genre collab with Johanna Parkhurst. Happy reading!
